Lindsay Lohan to make Ugly Betty cameo
Filming began over the weekend on Lindsay Lohan's long-rumoured role in Ugly Betty. According to Us Weekly sources, the Mean Girls star will play "a down-on-her-luck old high school pal of Betty". She was quoted as saying she was happy to be working again she'd arrived on set 45 minutes early. The source also went on to say, "Lindsay and America Ferrera (who plays Betty) really hit it off!" Lohan's episode will air on 22 May in the US. We can’t wait!

Lindsay Lohan was forced to deny she is a lesbian after being photographed apparently kissing close friend Samantha Ronson. The couple was shot getting cozy at P Diddy's recent Cannes party and sources told the Daily Mirror, "Sam was stroking Lindsay's wrist really affectionately. After partying on the main deck, they went downstairs to the chill-out floor - it looked like they were snogging each other's faces off." Leslie Sloane, Lindsay Lohan's spokesperson told Celeb TV the relationship is purely platonic, saying, "They are close friends," but her dad Michael said their romance “was evident to anyone with half a brain”.

Lindsay Lohan has turned down a nightclub owner's offer to bail her out of her latest legal woe - because she insists she is innocent. Model Masha Markova has filed papers at Manhattan's State Supreme Court claiming Lohan stole her $11,000 mink coat as she left a New York nightclub after a birthday party in January . The coat was later returned, but only after Lohan had been photographed wearing an identical fur on the same night.
Nightclub boss John Englebert stepped in on Wednesday and offered to settle the case for Lohan, and buy her her own mink coat. But the actress insists she doesn't need his help. Her representative says, "She already has one (fur coat)." Adding of the coat mystery, the rep adds, "If she took it, she took it by mistake. There are worse mistakes to make."

Lindsay Lohan's mother Dina Lohan shouldn't be blamed for the actress' personal problems, the 45-year-old showbiz mom insists. The 21-year-old is trying to rebuild her Hollywood career after a disastrous 2007, dominated by two arrests for driving under the influence, rehab time and an 84-minute jail spell.
And Dina insists Lindsay must accept full responsibility for her actions. She says, "She's 21 years old. We all make mistakes. It's not a blame game. It's not her mum's fault or her friends' fault It's the general personal choices you make. And you have to be careful about the choices you make when you're in the public eye."
