Funnyman Owen met then married Kate on the set of the so-so comedy You, Me and Dupree in 2005 and tongues were already wagging about the couple when Kate split with her rock star husband Chris Robinson in August 2006. The pair couldn't keep their relationship a secret for long, but by the beginning of June they had split. In August this year Owen was rushed to hospital after a suicide attempt amid rumours of a broken heart and drug abuse.

Actress Kate Hudson has fuelled reports she is dating cyclist Lance Armstrong, after allegedly making their romance public at a party in Cannes, France. The couple was said to have danced and kissed at designers Dolce & Gabbana's annual bash on Friday . According to People.com, Hudson and Armstrong danced away to old Madonna songs and other 1980s classics, in front of other celebrities including Natalie Portman, Lindsay Lohan and supermodel Naomi Campbell. A source says, "They were beaming at each other. So cute." Hudson split from actor Owen Wilson earlier this month, while Armstrong was previously engaged to singer Sheryl Crow.

Hudson, 29, was spotted sporting a diamond ring on her wedding finger on Thursday, fuelling speculation the on-off couple is taking their relationship to the next level. The pair met on the set of 2006 movie You, Me and Dupree and were romantically linked later that year after Hudson split from her husband of six years, rocker Chris Robinson.
The couple parted ways in June 2007, just two months before Wilson's alleged suicide attempt. And in recent months the stars have seemingly rekindled their love, spending Easter together in March in Miami, Florida. But a spokesperson for Hudson has refuted claims the star is engaged, telling UsMagazine.com, "She's definitely not engaged. She's shooting a movie called Bride Wars, which explains the ring."

Security around Kate Hudson's latest movie Bride Wars is on high-alert after a man allegedly expressed an "unhealthy interest" in the actress, according to reports. Neil Bergman of Whitefield, New Hampshire, was arraigned last week on burglary charges in Boston Municipal Court, in Massachusetts, and sent away for a 30-day mental evaluation, reports the Boston Herald. Sources claim that after the 44-year-old was apprehended, he ranted to cops about Hudson and her mother, actress Goldie Hawn, causing authorities to warn the actress' security detail about Bergman.
Elaine Driscoll, a spokesperson for the Boston Police Department, says, "This suspect made statements to the arresting officers that indicated the individual had an unhealthy interest in Kate Hudson. As a matter of caution, we alerted her security." Police supposedly found two axes, computer equipment, outdoor flower pots, an Elvis plate, a Christmas tree and women's clothing in Bergman's 2000 Honda Civic.
