The 'Walk The Line' hunk was seen holding hands with the olive-skinned beauty as they emerged from New York's swanky Nobu restaurant. An onlooker is quoted in Britain's Daily Star newspaper as saying: "Eva was nuzzling into Joaquin and he looked like his eyes were going to pop out of his head. "That said, she did look amazing."
Earlier this month, Joaquin and 'Hitch' star Eva - who are filming new movie 'We Own The Night' together - were seen dining at top New York restaurant La Esquina. According to onlookers, the pair looked "absolutely adorable together". After eating, they went onto the city's exclusive Butter nightclub, where they spent the rest of the night dancing and held hands. Mendes representative, Nicole Caruso, has so far denied the actress is romancing Phoenix, saying: "They are just friends."

According to onlookers, the pair were "absolutely adorable together" and after eating reportedly went on to exclusive nightclub Butter.
The two stars then spent the rest of night dancing with each other and allegedly "held hands". Mendes' representative, Nicole Caruso, has denied the actress is romancing Phoenix and insists she is still very much in love with her boyfriend. He told America's New York Post newspaper: "They are just friends. They are in town doing a movie together called 'We Own the Night' with Mark Wahlberg. Eva is still with her boyfriend."

----------------------------------------Joaquin Phoenix has refused to watch 'Walk The Line'. The heartthrob actor has been nominated for an Oscar for his portrayal of country star Johnny Cash in the movie. He revealed: "I hate watching myself." The star also revealed he became depressed when he finished shooting the movie. He told Britain's Now magazine: "I went through confusion and depression. After a film like this, I lose those things that help define me and make me comfortable. I go through this thing of, 'What am I? What do I do?'" Joaquin added: "I know all this sounds so f***ing serious, but I don't know why I like acting so much or why I like getting into a role.
"I don't want anything else that comes with acting, like the fame or the so-called perks."
