Madonna’s bid to join the legions of celebrity adopters was formally and finally approved by Malawian courts this week. “We are very happy with what the judge has ruled,” Alan Chinula, her lawyer told reporters. “It is a positive and beautiful judgment that will have an impact on Malawi's adoption laws. R Kelly’s former PA named the singer as the man who appears to have with an underage girl in an infamous tape. His former employee Lindsey Perryman said, “I did not want to believe it was Mr Kelly. I think so highly of him and his family, they have been so good to me.” Before saying she was “110% sure” the man in the tape was her former boss. She also told the court she believed the girl was 13 years old at the time. Meanwhile TMZ report “a woman who claims she had a three-way with Kelly and the alleged victim” is due to testify soon. R Kelly denies all charges.

Nicole Kidman accused ex-husband Tom Cruise of “manipulating” their adopted children, Isabella and Connor, this week. Speaking to Heat, Nicole said, “It’s a pity they have been manipulated by their father to distance themselves from me,” before explaining how the kids had blown out the chance of spending Mother’s Day with her to spend the day with Tom and new wife Katie Holmes. “They are closer to their new mom now,” she admitted.

Victoria Beckham admitted what everyone knows this week, she's a "terrible actress". Despite starring in her own film Spice World and appearing in Ugly Betty Posh told Showbiz Spy she has no plans to launch a Hollywood career. “I’m happy doing what I’m doing right now. I’m a terrible actress," she explained. "Everyone thinks I’m only friends with Tom and Katie to be in a movie but it’s not true. I’ve turned down lots of roles.” Be thankful for that

Kirsten Dunst confessed her recent stay in celebrity rehab was due to depression. When the Spiderman star checked in to the exclusive Cirque Lodge in Utah back in February it was widely reported that the actress was suffering from substance abuse problems. Not so, says Dunst. Speaking to E! she said, “I went there for depression. Depression is pretty serious and should not be gossiped about. It was a good six months before I decided to go away. I was struggling, and I had the opportunity to go somewhere and take care of myself. My doctor recommended Cirque Lodge.” Other recent celebrity visitors to rehab facility have been Eva Mendes and Lindsay Lohan.

The Royal Fergie spoke out against comments made in the Daily Mail about her daughter Beatrice in a bikini. “Can't someone buy that girl a sarong? For her sake, as well as ours,” columnist Allison Pearson wrote in the paper. Needless to say Fergie wasn’t pleased. “Touch me, fine, but don't touch my children. This woman, I would like to go to her house, to see her family. Should we focus on her derrière? I think Beatrice's comment was, 'Will they be happy if I get anorexia because then they could write about that too, couldn't they?’” the former princess said.
