Angelina Jolie expecting twin girls
Angelina Jolie is carrying twin girls, Star magazine reported this week. “Brad can't wait - he absolutely adores little girls,” an insider says. “And Angelina just loves seeing him and the other kids so excited and happy.” The babies are due in July but rumours are it’s not been an easy pregnancy for Angelina with one source even saying she recently collapsed. “Angie got out of bed and was halfway across the room when she passed out,” they say. “Brad heard her hit the floor and rushed to her side. She came around pretty quickly, and the medical team that has been travelling with her, a doctor and a nurse, got her back into bed and started checking her vitals.”

Jennifer Lopez made sure no one was in any doubt her upcoming show will not be reality TV this week. Speaking to Access Hollywood Jennifer insisted, despite TV Company TLC releasing a statement promising the “docu-series” would deliver a slice of Jennifer’s life that audiences have never seen before, as she takes on her career while trying to juggle her new responsibilities as a first time mom J.Lo said she would do no such thing. “You heard it here first. There is no reality show at all. We would not have cameras in our house,” Jennifer said. “It’s just not our thing. That might be fine for other people, but not for us,” also adding she “wanted to die” when she first heard rumors her babies were set to appear on screen. “I was talking about doing a show with TLC,” she said, “Well, we’ll see, we’ll see.” We’re guessing we probably won’t.

An LA court awarded Britney Spears more access to her sons Sean Preston and Jayden James this week. Ex husband Kevin Federline’s lawyer announced the news. “It represents a cautious step moving forward. The children are doing great, that's the key,” he said, before adding that it was K-Fed’s, “goal and his hope is his children will have the benefit of having two parents participating actively in their lives.” TMZ claim Britney will now have three supervised visits a week as well as an overnight visit every month. “We are so pleased at Britney's progress,” Britney’s parents Jamie and Lynne said in a prepared statement. “And we are very appreciative of the court's recognition of this progress.” Britney and Kevin are due back in court in July for a progress report.
------------------------------------Pete Doherty released from prison
Babyshambles singer Pete Doherty was released from Wormwood Scrubs after serving just 29 days of a 14-week sentence this week. Outside prison Pete told waiting reporters that he was looking forward to a rum and coke and also showed a medical certificate confirming he’d passed a drugs test inside. “I knew it was going to be a bit rough to start with, with the overcrowding and the medical facilities,” Pete explained. “Although they do their best,” he added, “they are good, they can't really cater for the average junkie,” before borrowing a journalist’s phone to sort out a lift home.

Scarlett Johansson and Ryan Reynolds have announced their engagement to People magazine. “They're both thrilled,” gushed Johansson's spokesman Marcel Pariseau (brilliant name), who went on to say the couple haven’t set a date yet. Meanwhile, Reynolds has been given the seal of approval by fellow actor Hugh Jackman. Jackman recently revealed he feels protective of Scarlett, whom he met while filming Scoop and The Prestige, but has given Ryan the thumbs up, calling him, “one of the funniest guys I've ever met. He's phenomenal.”

Nineteen-year old Peaches Geldof narrowly avoided being questioned by police after being filmed buying drugs from a friend of Amy Winehouse's husband, Blake Fielder Civil this week. In a video obtained by the Sun Peaches is seen offering to hand over up to £190 to Jonny Blagrove, who police believe runs a celebrity drugs ring. During the minute long video Peaches is shown saying, "I've got £140 but I need all that stuff off you tonight. Remember what I owe you, OK? Tomorrow I need Valium." Police were unable to question the presenter as there was insufficient proof substances were in fact illegal drugs. Peaches' dad Sir Bob Geldof said in the past he would "go f*****g ballistic" if she took drugs. Blagrove has denied selling drugs to Peaches.
--------------------------------Victoria Beckham to sue Rock and Republic
Victoria Beckham is set to launch legal action against fashion label Rock And Republic over loss of earnings, according to a report in the Daily Mail. Posh signed a deal to design denim with the company in 2004 but split two years later amid reports of a fall out with owner Michael Ball. A High Court listing shows Beckham Brand Ltd, the company set up to look after Victoria and David's various businesses filed a claim against Rock And Republic last month. Sources say the reason for the court action is because the range was not as profitable as Victoria was led to believe when she signed.
--------------------------------Lindsay Lohan to make Ugly Betty cameo
Filming began over the weekend on Lindsay Lohan's long-rumoured role in Ugly Betty. According to Us Weekly sources, the Mean Girls star will play "a down-on-her-luck old high school pal of Betty". She was quoted as saying she was happy to be working again she'd arrived on set 45 minutes early. The source also went on to say, "Lindsay and America Ferrera (who plays Betty) really hit it off!" Lohan's episode will air on 22 May in the US. We can’t wait!
